The General Development Test (GDT) is for students who wish to enroll in a vocational training program. You must be aged 16 years and older to be admitted to the GDT and 18 years old at the time of admission to the chosen vocational training program.
The GDT assesses the ability to:
- process information
- communicate in writing
- solve problems
- understand concepts
The exam consists of the following 5 parts that will be administered in the order listed below. The time allotted for the exam is three hours and the minimum pass grade is 43%.
- Mechanical Reasoning
- Science
- Math
- English Comprehension
- English Grammar
